Mrs. Meredith Halbrook Powers, 87, a resident of Camden, AL died at Vaughn Regional Medical Center on Monday, December 10, 2018. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with Brother Tommy Primm officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL directing. Burial will follow at the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Powers is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Pearl Halbrook; her husband, Jackie Darrel Powers; daughter, Lori Ann Duncan; brothers, Rayburn Halbrook and Tommy Halbrook; and a sister, Clelia Simpson. She is survived by her sons, Perry and Dennis Powers; daughter, Sharon Powers; grandson, Wade Duncan; great grandson, Clade Duncan; a brother, Joe Halbrook, Jr.; sisters Joy Thompson and Betty Halbrook, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steve Halbrook, Scott Halbrook, Jesse Tait, Mike Simpson, Wade Duncan, and Josh Cresswell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buford Gavin, Terry Joe Pearson, and Bryant Pearson.
