Branum, Mary Helen Phelps, 92, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. The graveside service will be Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Halso Mill Road/Hwy 59 Greenville, AL) with Reverend Jerry Hogwood officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Branum was preceded in death by her husband, Mack T. Branum, her son, Thomas P. Branum, her parents, Jacob Phelps and Mary Foster Phelps, her brother, Cecil Phelps and her sister, Clera Phelps. She is survived by her brother, William (Bill) Phelps (Gailya) of Prattville, AL, her son Timothy M. Branum (Barbara) of Georgia, her daughter, Candace Branum Armstrong of Oklahoma, and four granddaughters, Laura Blake Armstrong Tinsley (Todd), Sommer Elisabeth Armstrong, Anna Lee Branum Mellons (Travis), and Lisa Marie Branum Svendsen, six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Pallbearers will be: Mike Phelps, Dean Phelps, Glenn Cooper, Glenn Branum, Travis Mellons, and Todd Tinsley. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Phelps, Danny Gee, Scott Phelps and David Beck.
