Mrs. Mary Scott Godbold, a resident of Camden, AL died peacefully Monday, February 13, 2017 at the age of 99. A graveside service will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Camden City Cemetery with Reverend Brian Dovey officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL directing. Visitation will be held Friday, February 17 at 2:00 pm at the Camden United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Godbold was preceded in death by her husband, John Lawrence Godbold. She is survived by her son: Lawrence Godbold, two grandchildren: Fran Killeen (Greg) and John Goldbold (Donna); and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Scottie attended Judson College, was active in Camden Methodist Church and a member of the Camden Library board and librarian for 8 years. Mrs. Scottie was a member of the DAR, UDC, Wilcox County Historical Society, Butler County Historical Society, and Charter Member of the Camden Study Forum and Camden Garden Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Camden United Methodist Church.
