Lowery, Mary Emma, 91, died Thursday, June 1, 2017. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Sexton officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Lillie B Carter; husband, J.C. Lowery, Sr.; sisters, Essie Hood and Louise Sorrells and brothers, Bogue Carter, Bill Carter, and Jake Carter. She is survived by her sons, Jerome C. Lowery, Jr. (Janice) and Benny Lowery; grandchildren, Jerome C. Lowery, III (Tracy), James Carter Lowery (Kim) Kerri B Lowery, Martha Lee Hawkins (Stacey), and Ashley L. Duett; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; brothers, Sam Ben Carter (Chris) and John Frank Carter (Janice) and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Covenant Hospice.
