Mary Burkett, 87, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died on April 19, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Don Yancey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 2:00 until service time. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Whitstine Thigpen (William) of Montgomery, AL and Lisa Whitstine of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Britt Thigpen, Vickie Thigpen Dodd, Bill Thigpen, Jr. and Brittany Whitstine; four great-great grandchildren, Matthew Thigpen, Hunter Hawkins, Presley Hawkins, Ava Thigpen; two sisters, Margaret Kelso of Mobile, AL and Frances Stokes of McKenzie, AL ; one brother, Coleman Heartsill of Greenville, AL and numerous nieces and nephews.
