Marvin Eugene Collins "Gene", 68, a resident of Greenville, AL died at Regional Medical Center on Sunday, August 11, 2019. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Brother Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Irene Collins and a son-in-law, John Kevin Paulk. He is survived by his wife, Janet McNeil Collins of Greenville, AL; children, Jana Collins Paulk and Brandon E. Collins both of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Halle Collins Paulk and Tealie Katherine Paulk both of Greenville, AL; brothers, Joe Collins (Joan) of Maplesville, AL and Mike Collins of Wetumpka, AL and many nieces and nephews.
