Margaret M. Newsom, 94, a resident of Camden, AL passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Camden Nursing Facility. The graveside service will be Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Canton Bend Cemetery in Canton Bend, AL with Reverend Eddie Davidson, Reverend Reid Nettles and Reverend Chris Wells officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL will be directing.

Mrs. Newsom was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Newsom; daughter, Betty Sue Newsom; parents, James A. and Sara E. McKenzie, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Newsom and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful member of Camden Baptist Church. Throughout her membership she served as a Sunday School teacher for the three-year-old class; and later as the Wednesday Night Suppers Coordinator for twenty-eight years.
