Ms. Margaret Corene Burkett , age 95, of Montgomery, Al, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at a local nursing home.. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, AL. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Danielsville Cemetery in Danielsville, AL.

Ms. Burkett was born in Lapine, Alabama on August1, 1923, and was a life long resident of Montgomery, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband Burley Turner of 32 years, and husband Edward Burkett of 20 years, her parents Hubert and Wealtha (Lofton) Mason; brothers Hubert and Earnest Mason; and grandson Gregory E. Vick. She is survived by her daughter , Shirley T. Vick (Errol) of Hoover, Alabama; son Stanley Turner of Honoraville, Alabama; granddaughters Sherri V. Cooper (Alex) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, and Stacey Middleton of Evergreen, Alabama; grandson Chris Turner of Evergreen, Alabama; brother Vernon Mason of Honoraville, Alabama, along with several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and will be greatly missed.
