Carden, Margaret Ann Jenkins, 86, a resident of Pine Apple, AL died at her home Monday, June 13, 2016. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend William Leverette officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Awin Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carden was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell S. Carden; daughter, Pennye Rogers; son-in-law, David Rogers and her grandson, Jeremy Burroughs. She is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Ponder (Arnold) of Pine Apple, AL, Trudy Foy (Barry) of Pine Apple, AL, Mitchellene Works (Randall) of Pine Apple, AL and Sharon Burroughs of Greenville, AL; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister: Nita Hardee of Monroeville, AL; two sisters-in-law and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mrs. Carden retired after forty years with the United States Postal Service as the Post Mistress of McWilliams Post Office.
