Margaret Mitchellene Carden, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 72.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Awin Church of Christ, Pineapple, Alabama.  The family will receive friends for visitation at Dunklin Funeral Home beginning at 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Margaret Mitchellene Carden was born on 3/2/53 and passed away 3/2/25 on her 72nd birthday.  She was from Pineapple, Alabama and was the 3rd daughter of Mitchel & Ann Carden.

She was a devoted and loving mother, sister and MIMI. She loved the beach and ocean, to read books and her family.

Mitchellene was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Pennye Renee (Carden) Rogers, sister Rebecca Diane (Carden) Ponder and former husband, Eugene Girlie.

Surviving relatives include her sister, Katy Trudy (Carden) Foy, sister Sharon Ann (Carden) Burroughs; son, Milton E. (Jennifer) Girlie; daughter, Misty Michelle Girlie; grandchildren, Bruce (Angela) Jones, Brandon (Eliza) Girlie, Chyenne (Tyler) Flowers, Justin (Caroline) Bell and 5 great grandchildren - Carson, Taylor, Lily, Hayden and Sadie, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
