Marette Giddens Tutchtone, a life long resident of Greenville, Alabama transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 25, 2022 with her family at her side holding her hands and praying.

Funeral services will be on Monday, August 29, 2022 in the chapel at Dunklin Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Andy McKeown and Brother Joey Duncan officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. prior to service.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park with Dunklin Funeral directing.

Marette was born to George Alfred and Callie Giddens on October 30, 1932.  In 1952, she married James Douglas "Tenniebud" Tutchtone.  They had one daughter, Debbie Tutchtone and one son, Ray Tutchtone. They were blessed with five grandchildren, Curtis Knight, Melisa Knight (Todd) Campbell, Deletha Tutchtone, Chad Tutchtone and Jason (Krystal) Tutchtone.  They were blessed with eleven great grandchildren, Haley Tutchtone, Dylan Brogden, Karmyme Brogden, Alexis D'Rae Brogden, Kallie (Fabio) Knight, Gray Knight, C.J. Knight, Camden Campbell, Allie Carson Campbell, Tinsleigh Tutchtone, Maverick Tutchtone, and one great-great grandchild, Luka D o rrejo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Alfred Giddens; her husband, James Douglas Tutchtone; grandson, Chad Tutchtone; great grandchild, Alexis D'Rae Brogden, many brothers and sisters.

She was a member of Giddens Chapel Church that her great grandfather built.  She worked at Foster Manufacturing Company for many years and then Majors Cleaners for many more years.
