Louise Simmons Pope, 86 of Greenville passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at home in Montgomery surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hub and Evenia Simmons, her husband, Robert Savell and her son, Terry Alton Pope.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Marshall (Steve), daughter in law, Jollyn Pope, grandchildren: Dr. Keri Stanley (Chase), Jason Pope (Lindsey), Brandon Pope (Alysia), John Millan Gaston, Benen Gaston and Faith Marshall; great grandchildren: Abby Pope, Sara Pope, Olivia Pope, Sophia Stanley, Jack Stanley and Fisher Stanley and her sister, Evelyn Davis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2023, at Southside Baptist Church in Greenville with Reverend Herbert Brown officiating. The family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am with services following at 11:00.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park in Greenville.
