Harvell, Nora Louise Dumas, also affectionately known as "Mrs. Pete", "Peaches", or "Momma Pete", age 84, resident of Camden, AL died on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at J. Paul Jones Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Camden Baptist Church on Friday, November 14, 2014 with Mr. Don Daniels and Mr. Bill Albritton officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Mrs. Harvell is preceded in death by her parents: Reuben Frederick and Nora Bell Dumas, husband: Lewis Devan Harvell, daughter: Judith Gail Harvell, brothers: Steven Dumas, Fred Dumas, Dave Dumas, and Oscar Dumas. She is surviced by her daughter: Susie Winters (Sam) of Greenville, AL, son: Glenn Harvell, grandchildren: Michael Harvell (Erin) of Pike Road, AL, Laura Susan Harvell of Montgomery, AL, Emory Winters (Becky) of Huntsville, AL, Amy Bohannon (Jacob) of Deatsville, AL, great-granddaughter: Charlotte Dean Winters of Huntsville, AL, loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, special friends: Mary Corley (caregiver), Pat and Terry Taylor, Tawny Bohannon (Wayne), Mattie Pearl Bonham, Leebo Duke, her loving staff at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home: Don & Deborah Daniels, Damon & Brandy Daniels, Derek Daniels, Bobby Calhoun, Benjamin Faulkenberry, Bill Albritton, Ed Weaver, Lee Tanner, Ron Gibson, Derrick Smith, Joshua Booker, Braxton and Dalton Daniels.
Mrs. Harvell was a longtime member of Camden Baptist Church, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Wilcox Historical Society, and a huge fan of the Auburn Tigers.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Camden Baptist Church.
