Lou V. Acreman, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the age of 80.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Street Church of Christ with Charles Box officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Cleston Moore and Bertie Mae Eddins Moore; brothers, James Moore, Charlie Moore, J.C. Moore, Jack Moore, Donnie Moore; sisters, Mary McGough and Leola McGough.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Earl Acreman; daughter, Barbara Wood; sister-in-law's, Alice Padgett and Norma Jean Stinson.

Lou worked at American Apparel for more than 40 years.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
