Loren Crawford Kirkland, Jr., born on November 2, 1949, passed away peacefully at his home in Coy, AL, on March 16, 2025. Loren was predeceased by his father, Loren Crawford Kirkland, Sr., his mother, Willie Marie Sands Kirkland, his sister, Betty Elaine Walker, his nephew, Travis Lee Walker, and his brother-in-law, Arlis Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Judy Kirkland, and his stepchildren, Donna Wilson, Pat Combee, and Brian Koper. Loren is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Roberts, one grandson, three great grandsons, as well as his beloved nephews, Michael Harrell and Charles Walker.

Loren was a hard worker who loved his family and the outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, which brought him great joy throughout his life. Loren proudly continued his love for farming throughout his entire life. A skill his father passed down to him at an early age.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Loren's life and legacy.
