Linda Ruth Canant, 74, a resident of Luverne, Al passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Lisenby officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Canant is preceded in death by her parents, Lucius John and Ruth Canant.

Mrs. Canant is survived by her sons: Horace Edgar (Chip) Williford, III and wife Nancy of Spanish Fort, Al; Michael John Williford and wife Beverly of Montgomery, Al; daughters: Susan Michelle Williford and significant other Sheri Forehand of Banks, Al; Teressa Lynn Williford of Luverne, Al; brother William T. Canant and wife Ann of Troy, Al; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 nephews.

She loved her time on the Mobile Bay, her friends and arts.
