Linda Faye Batson

Linda Faye Batson, 77, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David O’Neal Batson, parents, Warren and Gladys Childs and brother, Warren Childs.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Lawrence (Dawn), daughter, Mary Parent (Frederick), brother, Jerry Childs, grandchildren, Steven Lawrence, Crystal Smith, Buddy Lawrence and Elijah Bell, as well as several great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Sunrise Memorial Park in Greenville with Bro. Ricky Crysell officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.
