Leo East, age 71, of Stockbridge, GA died Monday, February 10, 2014. He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late John D. and Dora Buford East. Leo was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Eugene East. He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of Henry Baptist Church, and he enjoyed music especially southern gospel. Leo loved to fish, work outside, but mostly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Leo is survived by his wife: Linda East, Stockbridge, GA; children: Cindy (Charles) Justice, Hampton, GA; Jesse (Terry) East, Milner, GA; Jerry Wilkerson, Greenville, AL; grandchildren: Jessica Gregory, Chris East, Kelsie East, Zachary East, Amanda East, Ashley Hodges, Ansley Smith, Cameron Smith; 6 great grand-children: and sister-in-law: Becky Berry, Temple, GA.

Funeral Services for Leo will be held at Henry Baptist Church on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00am with Rev. Archie Norman officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.
