Kerry Marvin Burkett, 47, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL died on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home. A memorial service will be Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Jackson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Burkett is preceded in death by his mother: Myrtis Ann Hollingshead and his brother: Jack Michael Burkett.

He is survived by his son: Koby Reynolds Burkett of Margate, FL; father: Jack Marvin Burkett of Fort Deposit; sister: April Burkett Reid (George) of Fort Deposit; nephew: Corey Michael Burkett of Hope Hull; niece: Josie Noelle Reid of Fort Deposit; great nephews: Chase Burkett of Hope Hull and Reid Adkison of Fort Deposit; lifelong friend: Robert Bowen of Fort Deposit and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in his honor to a charity of one's choosing.
