Karen Lynette Whittington

Karen Lynette Whittington, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 54.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Stacey Gaston officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Vinson E. McIntyre; father-in-law, Reeford Whittington; and niece, Ansley Smithart.

She is survived by her husband, David Whittington; stepdaughter, Jodie (Melvin) Perez, her mother, Katie McIntyre; her sisters, Brenda (Randall) Browder, Shonda (Justin) Smithart; step-grandchildren, Cameron Whittington, Camden Perez, Mia Perez; mother-in-law, Marie Whittington; brother-in-law, Joseph (Wanda) Whittington, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
