Mrs. Karen Ilene Duncan, 60, a resident of Greenville, AL died at UAB Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2026.

The funeral service will be on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Chris Mosley officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Giddens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Betty Jo Simmons Stinson.

She is survived by her husband, Joey Conrad Ducan; daughters, Crystal Ponder (Tra) and Judy Wall (David); grandchildren, Joseph Ponder, Elizabeth Ponder, Stephen Ponder (Arwen), Eric Ponder (Abbie), Marcus Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Sarah Anderson, Julie Marie Wall and Josephine Wall; great-grandchildren, Candence and Cole Ponder; sister, Anita Kim Stinson and number nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Karen attended Fort Dale Academy and graduated from Greenville High School in 1984. She had a strong faith, a loving spirit and a giving heart. Her smile and infectious laugh could light up a room and will be missed by all.
