Mrs. Joy Maxwell Dees, 94, a resident of Greenville, AL died at her home Wednesday, February 23, 2022. A graveside service will be on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Rob Fossett officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Dunklin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dees was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur W. "Billy" Dees; parents, Lionel and Jennie Maxwell. She is survived by cousins, Vaughn Maxwell,  Barbara Maxwell Cunningham, Margaret Maxwell Boilini and Isabelle Maxwell Croft; nieces, Mary Jane Dees Falkenberry, Susan Dees Henley and Edith Dees; special friends, McDuffie and Catherine Stallworth and several special cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pine Apple Methodist Cemetery or the charity of ones own choice.
