Barganier, Sr., Joseph Lamar "Joe", 79, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Myrtlewood Cemetery in Fort Deposit with Venty Butts officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening June 13, 2019 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Barganier was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Perdue Barganier; parents, Albert Venty and Frances Elizabeth Barganier; brother, Sam Barganier; sister, Annie Butts; mother-in-law, Freddie Perdue and father-in-law, Clady Perdue. He is survived by his sons, Joseph L. "Joey" Barganier,Jr., Furniss Payton Barganier, and Dennis Allen Bender, Sr.; grandchildren, Brandi Jo Barganier, Lexie Lucretia Carol Barganier, Dennis Allen Bender, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Joe Nelson Taylor, Lohnny and Brandon Girlie, and Hunter Bender; great-great granddaughter, Lily Nova Girlie; many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and friends.
