DUKE, Mr. Johnnie M. 74, a resident of Greenville died in the Crenshaw Community Hospital June 5, 2011. The family will receive friends at the Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Duke is preceded in death by his daughter Susan Ann Palmer. Survivors include wife, Ruth Duke of Greenville; three daughters, Linda Gail Davis of Summerdale, Sheila Buchanan (James) of Mobile, Patsy Dunklin (Chris) of Mobile; four sons, Danny Palmer of McKenzie, John W. Duke of Greenville, Charles Duke of Axis, Ricky Duke (Santana) of Axis; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Duke, Elaine Johnson, Sandra Bell all of Greenville, Myra Rutledge of Georgiana and several nieces and nephews.
