Mr. John Robert Lide, 68, a resident of Greenville, AL, died at his residence on Monday, April 29, 2013. Mr. Lide was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville, AL, retired as Manager from First Lowndes Bank of Highland Home, AL, a Master Mason of Eureka Lodge in Greenville, AL, and a Shriner of which he was a member of the Alcazar Temple in Montgomery, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, May 1, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Padalino and Rev. Lane Simmons officiating. Lide of Greenville, AL, 3 daughters: Jana Gafford of Birmingham, AL, Cindy Wilson (Sam) of Greenville, AL, Darlene Powell (Bob) of Adairsville, GA, son: James Aubrey Lide of Travis AFB, CA, 9 grandchildren: John Nathan Ward, Gracelyn Kelley, Katie Wilson, Wes Powell, Chase Powell, Cody Lide, Jacob Lide, Aubrey Lide, Emmie Lide, 2 sisters: Peggy Harris of Bristol, VA, Sondra Parker of Frostproof, FL, nieces and nephews.
