John J Kirchharr, 66, of Camden, Al died away February 16, 2018 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis, Al.

He was a deacon of the Mormon Church of Camden, Al. He served 7 years in the United States Army. He was an employee of the Alabama Department of Transportation and looking forward to retirement.

He was proceed in death by his parents: John Lee and Barbara Nell Kirchharr.

John is survived by his two brothers: Donnie(Debra) Kirchharr of Verdenburg, Al and James (Charlotte) Kirchharr of Camden, Al; three children: Angela (Darryl) Hurt of Gallion, Al., Wendy Kirchharr of Forest City, N.C., Andrew Kirchharr of Eugene, OR; five grandchildren: Makayla, Savannah, and Nathan Redmon, Taylor and Seth Hurt, and host of nieces and nephews.

The family honored his passing with a private family gathering at his home. The family would like to thank everyone for their well wishes. In Lieu of flowers send donations to the American Cancer Society or your local oncology clinic.
