John Wesley Henderson, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the age of 85.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch East Baptist Church with Reverend Ronnie Boulware officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Reebie Jo Henderson; parents, C.B. and Eunice Henderson; sisters, Marie Henderson, Mary Archer, Sara Shumway Harrison; brothers, Ed Henderson, Jack Henderson, Conrad Henderson, Charles Henderson, Hubert Henderson, Phillip Henderson; brothers-in-law, Dale Norris and Ralph Thompson.

He is survived by his children, Louise (Alvin) Sullivan, Raymond (Judi) Henderson; grandchildren, Will Henderson, Shelby Sullivan; great grandchildren, Conley Henderson, Brynlee Henderson; brother, Wayne (Bonnie) Henderson; sisters-in-law, Velecia Norris, Frances Henderson, along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Wesley was married to the love of his life, Reebie Jo, for 65 years.  He was a faithful member of Antioch East Baptist Church and loved serving there.  He was a dedicated employee with Contanier/Smurfit for 42 years.  He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.
