Alford, Mr. John Robison, 62, a resident of Camden, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 in Baptist South Medical Center. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.at Camden Baptist Church . Rev. Bob Weber officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Camden Baptist Church Building Fund. Mr. Alford is preceded in death by his parents George F. Alford, Sr and Mary S. Alford and sister, Mary Scott Barnes. Survivors include his wife, Jane L. Alford of Camden, AL; daughter, Christine Elizabeth A. Seagle (Scotty) of Montevallo, AL; three sons, Robert Randolph Alford (Paige) of Pensacola, FL, John Robison Alford of Boulder, CO, William Dura Pilkington of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Peyton Carroll, Chance Seagle, Grace Alford, Hope Alford, Faith Alford; brother, George Alford (Ann) of Camden, AL and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Alford was in the U. S. Army Infantry.
