Bradford, Jr. Joe Earl, 57, born November 3, 1957, a resident of Greenville, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Antioch West Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Watson Wasden officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening February 4, 2015 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Joe was born in Union City, Tennessee, and throughout his childhood lived in many places across the country. After graduating from Georgiana High School, Joe served his country in the United States Army at several posts at home and abroad, then returned to his beloved Greenville, AL. In 1980, Joe married Dusty Griggers and raised their two children, Sommer and Joe.
Passionate about his faith, about his family, about Alabama football, and about rock 'n' roll, Joe was beloved by many and an inspiration to all who knew him.
Joe is survived by his parents: Joe Bradford, Sr. and Pat Jones Bradford; daughter: Sommer Brown and husband, Doug; son: Joe Bradford III and wife, Hannah; fiancAC.: Kim Halden, grandchildren: Dustin, Caleb, Sydnie, and Lucy Brown; former wife: Dusty Hartley; siblings: David Bradford and wife, Susie, and Kevin Bradford and wife, Lynette; four nieces and four great-nieces and nephews; and many other beloved family and friends.
