Walker, Jimmy V. age 63 of Greenville, Alabama died suddenly on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama after a brief illness. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Walnut Street Church of Christ with Minister Charles Box and Minister Stacey Harrell officiating. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Peggy Walker and a brother, Sidney "Pee Wee" Walker.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Barbara Walker; children, Jay E. (Danielle) Walker, Jason (Meredith) Godwin; grandchildren, Chloe Grayce Walker, Clayton James Walker, Mason Godwin, Matthew Godwin, Micah Godwin, Maryanna Godwin, Marcus Godwin; brother, Steve (Phyllis) Walker; sisters, Theresa (Chuck) Wilson, Brenda (Craig) Wells, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

To know Jimmy was to love him. He never met a stranger. This world is a little less bright without him in it. He will be missed dearly.
