Jeannine B. Stringer, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama and former resident of Fort Deposit, Alabama died Sunday, May 24, 2015. A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Carlson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. She is preceded in death by brothers, George Bowman and Curtis Bowman and survived by her husband: Gerald Stringer; son, Stephen Matthew Stringer, Sr. (Sarah); grandchildren, Stephen Matthew Stringer, Jr., Katherine Elizabeth Stringer, Mary Margaret Stringer; brothers: John Bowman (Marlene), Eugene Bowman (Jan), Harvell Bowman; sisters: Evelyn
Rider (Hank), Virginia Godwin, Katherine Robinson (James), Ruth Simmons (Horace), and Betty Sims (J.C. - deceased).
Jeannine was born in Andalusia, Alabama January 22, 1950 to Pauline and Obie Bowman. She attended Lowndes County High School and graduated in 1968. Jeannine was truly blessed; spent most of her days keeping up with the events and stories of her three grandchildren Matthew, Katherine and Mary Margaret and had an extreme love for all things - Auburn, especially football. Jeannine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.
