Chance, Janie W., 87, a resident of Minter, AL, died on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at L. V. Stabler Memorial Hospital in Greenville, AL.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Braggs Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Charles Box and Minister David Mullins officiating. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Chance was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis (Bobby) Chance.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Marzette C. Strickland (Hugh) of Minter, AL, Carolyn C. Alexander (Mike) of Selma, AL, son: Robert Wheeler Chance (Tracy) of Minter, AL, 6 grandchildren: Scott Strickland (Rebecca), Robert Strickland (Olivia), Mike Britton (Helena), Melissa Vardaman (Chris), Mallory Lovell (David), Meredith Chance and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Chance was a member of Farmersville United Methodist Church, Farmersville, AL.

Pallbearers are Scott Strickland, Robert Strickland, Mike Britton, Chris Vardaman, David Lovell and Marvin Tindoll.
