Jane Boswell, age 71, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham with Justin Owens, Tyler Owens, and Katherine Lee at her side.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Sunrise Memorial Park with Minister Jerry Barlow officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Boswell, Sr.; her parents, Eric and Bernice Gafford; daughter-in-law, Heather Whittington Owens Wade.

She is survived by her son, Justin Owens; stepson, Douglas Boswell, Jr.; grandsons, Tyler (Madison) Owens, and Hunter Boswell, great granddaughters, Teighan Owens, and Lennon Owens; brother, Mike (Janice) Gafford; nephew, Todd Gafford; and her fur son, Roscoe Boswell-Owens.

Jane was a loving mother, grandmother, and dog mom.  She was a dental hygienist for 20 plus years.  She was a devoted wife to Douglas Boswell, Sr. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, loved gardening, walking Roscoe, and watching game shows.
