Phelps, James A., age 85, a resident of Greenville, AL died on Monday, June 2, 2014. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Hogwood officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Phelps is survived by his wife, Peggy Phelps of Greenville, AL; daughters Lisa Cook ( William) of Montgomery, AL and Donna Hunt (Steve) of Greenville, AL; son, Alan Phelps of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Taryn Cook, Andrew Phelps, Sarah Cox, Thomas Phelps and Steven Hunt and great-grandchildren, Taven Cox and Austin Cox.
