James walked this beautiful life sharing his love of his Lord and Savior with every person he encountered. He was an avid prayer warrior who was known to drop everything to pray for anyone who asked or he felt led to intercede for. It was his gift, his ability to speak God's word and to speak it so beautifully into the lives of others. He was exuberant in his faith, sharing his testimony and his love of Jesus. He was the kindest spirit, who shared his love of Jesus and his family with the type of exuberance that we all pray to emulate in even the smallest manner. For all who were blessed and honored to have known Brother James the singular truth we all know is that God welcomed him home, embracing a faithful child, a cherished husband, an adored father, an honored servant, as He reunited with a favored son.
James was a faithful and active member of the Camden Church of God and the Methodist Men's Morning Prayer Group. He was also very involved in the Wilcox County Jail Ministry.
