Hobbie, Jr., James Calvin, age 82, a resident of Greenville, AL, died at his home on Friday, September 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Walnut Street Church of Christ in Greenville, AL with Minister Jack Cates officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hobbie of Greenville, AL, sons, Tommy Hunt (Benita) of Montgomery, AL, Johnny Hobbie (Angie) of Camden, AR, grandchildren, Jessica Gallardo of Montgomery, AL, Joey, Andy and Abby Hobbie of Camden, AR, sisters, Ada Claire Solomons of Greenville, AL and Mary Ann Garcia of Pensacola, FL, many nieces and nephews.
