Giddens, James Donnes, 70, a resident of Georgiana, AL died at his home Friday, January 23, 2015. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Smith and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Giddens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Giddens is survived by his wife of 52 years: Barbara Giddens of Georgiana, AL, 3 daughters: Cathy Sadler (Jack) of Camden, AL, Angie Averette (Wayne) of Camden, AL and Amanda Brogden (Jonathan) of McKenzie, AL; 2 sons: Don Giddens (Sherri) of Georgiana, AL and Scott Giddens (Sheena) of Georgiana, AL; 12 grandchildren; sister: Judy Muffley (Jackie) of Carrollton, GA; brother: Ernest Giddens (Roberta) of Highland Home, AL and several nieces and nephews.
