Elmore, James Douglas, 80, a resident of Greenville, AL died at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital Thursday, September 3, 2015. The funeral service will take place from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Lane Simmons officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Covington County. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Elmore was preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Sure Elmore and his two sisters.
He is survived by his sons: Randy Elmore of Montgomery, AL and Anthony Scott Elmore (Mallory White) of Greenville, AL; grandsons: James A. Elmore of Greenville, AL and Tristan Elmore of Montgomery, AL; first wife: Katherine Jewel Elmore; daughter-in-law: Candy Kassian of Deatsville, AL and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
