Mr. James Gregory Brooks of McKenzie, AL died on October 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2016 with Reverend Allen Joyner officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the Brooks Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, October 6th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Lisa Brooks, daughter, Vicki Williams (Josh) of Red Level, AL, son, John Brooks of McKenzie, AL, step-children, Bradley Bush of McKenzie, AL, Beth McManus (Dusty) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Kari Bush of McKenzie, AL, parents, James and Patsy Brooks of McKenzie, AL, mother-in-law, Betty Stinson of McKenzie, AL, twelve grandchildren, sisters; Tina Brooks Powell, Annette Brooks Merritt, Michelle Brooks Reynolds all of McKenzie, AL, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Mr. Brooks was a faithful employee at Key Safety Systems in Greenville, AL. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Powell, Cody Baldwin, Josh Williams, Joe O'Neal, Bradley Bush, Jay Waters, and Ronald Merritt.
