Jackson Glenn Boutwell

Jackson Glenn Boutwell, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away in Alpharetta, Georgia, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Greenville, Alabama, where he learned the values of hard work, kindness, and humility that would guide him throughout his life.

A respected CPA by profession, Jack built a career defined by integrity, dedication, and quiet excellence. He was someone people trusted completely- not only for his wisdom and professionalism, but for the steady and thoughtful way he approached life. He took pride in helping others and believed deeply in doing things the right way.

Outside of work, Jack found joy in the simple and meaningful things. He loved spending time on the golf course, where friendships were formed and stories were shared. He was also a talented knife maker, creating each piece with patience, precision, and care- a reflection of the craftsmanship he valued so highly. In his garden, he found peace and fulfillment, nurturing plants with the same gentle attention he gave to the people he loved.

Though Greenville was where his story began, Alpharetta became the home where he built a life rich with family, friendship, and cherished memories. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his generous spirit, his quiet sense of humor, and the unconditional love he gave to those closest to him.

He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Dobracki (Keith Dobracki) and Blair Boutwell, who were the pride and joy of his life. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughters, Reece and Isla Dobracki, whose smiles brought him endless happiness and whose lives will forever carry his love and legacy forward.

Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his family and friends find comfort in knowing he is reunited with Sue, and that the values he lived by – love, patience, honesty, and quiet strength – will continue to guide those who loved him most.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville, Alabama on May 30th, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.

Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
