Irene P. Cumbie, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at the age of 93.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Nate Smith officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie E. Parmer and Alma Craig Parmer; her husband, Robert Bernard Cumbie; brothers, Samuel Parmer and Billy Parmer.

She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Cumbie Lansdon (Allen), Linda Cumbie Payne (Tom); son, Robert Michael Cumbie (Donna); grandchildren, Rachel Taylor Payne (Chris), Matthew Thomas Payne (Sonya), Laura Lansdon Smith (Nate), Ryan Allen Lansdon, Heather Cumbie Davis (Britt), Michael Gray Cumbie, Hunter Cumbie, Chloe Cumbie, Reagan Cumbie; sisters, Ruby Parmer, Mary Head, Frances Gardner; sister in law, Glinda Parmer; 14 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
