Powell, I.V., 69, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL died on Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home. A graveside service will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015 beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his parents: Manley and Maline Powell; siblings: Hoover Powell, Cecil Powell, Jim Powell and Hazel Minor. He is survived by his sisters: Myrlean Hitson of Fort Deposit, AL and Betty Irvin (Ben) of Montgomery, AL; brothers: Bill Powell (Janice) of Millbrook, AL, Monroe Powell (Pearl) of Millbrook, AL and Eligh-Hugh Powell (Barbara) of Jonesboro, AR, several nieces, nephews, and beloved pet "Pooh". Pallbearers will be Johnny Petterson, David Powell, Paul Powell, Billy Powell, Waylon Powell and Allen Powell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Walter Nolan, Thomas Nolan, Clay Nolan, Daniel Nolan and Wade Nolan. We as the family of I.V.
