Giddens, Hurley Gilbert, 98, a resident of Greenville, AL died at his home on Friday, January 23, 2015. The graveside service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Giddens Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Jim Wilson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the graveside service at Giddens Chapel.

Mr. Giddens was preceded in death by his wife: Alice Giddens and his daughter: Jeanette Giddens Meridith. He is survived by his son: Lester Wayne Giddens (Nancy) of Greenville, AL; sister: Marette Touchstone of Greenville, AL; 5 grandchildren: Keith Meridith (Angela) of Greenville, AL, Bradley Giddens of Jasper, AL, Chad Giddens of Wetumpka, AL, Brandi Giddens of Greenville, AL and Jason Giddens of Georgiana, AL and a number of great-grandchildren.
