Mr. Hubert Smith age 73 of Honoraville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Birmingham Nursing and Rehab. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Crossview Baptist Church Cemetery in Highland Home, Alabama at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Bill Graeff officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Hubert is preceded in death by his parents, Kearny Hugh Smith and Dorothy Wood Smith. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years Janice Smith; daughters, Greta (Rickey) Duffell, Daisy (Shane) McCullough, Wendy (James) Sanders; thirteen grandchildren, Danielle Duffel, Devin Duffel, Dawn Duffel, Jesse Sanders, Abby Sanders, Jasmine Jernigan, Alyna McCullough, Charity McCullough, Katie McCullough, Anthony McCullough, Karma McCullough, Zena McCullough, and Bodie McCullough is on the way. Hubert loved the Lord and his family, he loved to play cards, basketball, and ride bicycles with the kids. He was a big Elvis fan and a collector of old coins. Hubert was a sweet, wonderful man who always provided for his family. He will be deeply missed.
