Horace A. Simmons, 75, of Ft. Deposit, AL, died Friday February 28, 2020. Services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Henderson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Belser Cemetery in Briar Hill, Al. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00a.m. till 1:00p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Simmons is preceded in death by his parents, George & Genie Simmons and a sister, Emma Jean Isabelle of Phenix City, Alabama.

Survivors include, his wife, Paula Simmons of Ft. Deposit, Al.; daughter, Carla Lynn Harper (Jeiel ) of Lowndesboro, AL.; sons, Michael Horace Simmons (Karen) of Montgomery, AL., Dan Alton Simmons of Ft. Deposit, AL.; brothers, Mack Simmons of North Carolina, Mark Simmons of Greenville, AL.; sister, Martha Barganier of Ft. Deposit, AL.; grandchildren, Christopher Simmons, Nickolas Simmons, Grant Simmons, Preston Simmons, McKinney Simmons; great granddaughter, Scarlet Simmons; nephews, Sam Barganier of Ft. Deposit, AL, Neil Barganier of Greenville, AL, Jake Simmons of South Carolina, Chris Simmons of Auburn, AL; nieces, Wanda Bargainer of Ft Deposit, AL, Neena Grooms of North Carolina, April Judd of North Carolina, Brenda Dean of Mobile, AL.
