Homer Lee Earnest, a resident of Greenville, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at the age of 81.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Antioch East Baptist Church with Brother Blair McBride officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Homer was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Lucille Reed Earnest; son, Michael Lynn Earnest; his parents, James Lee and Daisy Lucille Kilgore Earnest.

He is survived by son, Jimmie Ray (Becky) Earnest; grandchildren, Anthony, Caleb, Christian, and Asher; great grandchildren, Levi, Abel, Bindi, Eretria, and Torrin; daughter-in-law, Kim Earnest; brother-in-law, Robert Reed; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
