Little, Herman Alfred, 89, a resident of Greenville, died Monday, September 7, 2015. Funeral services will be Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Little was preceded in death by his wife: Edna B. Little and parents: J.G. and Lucille Little. He is survived by his daughter: Ann Sanders (Bill) of Goshen, AL; son: Rick Little (Shirley) of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren: Toni Williams (Jimmy), Valerie Kyzar (Jay), Jay Hughes (Ashley), William Sanders (Jessica), Annie Alejandre (Jack), Traci Kurtz (Brooklin); great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Williams, Walt Williams, Jackson Kyzar, Olivia Kyzar, Erin Hughes, Libby Sanders, Julian Andrada, SheaLyn Kurtz, Austin Kurtz, and sister: Mavis Sawyer of Greenville, AL.
Mr. Little was in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946, stationed in Germany. He was a deacon at Forest Home Baptist Church for many years. He was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church. He retired from the Butler County School System as Transportation Supervisor, where he worked for 42 years.
Pallbearers will be Jay Hughes, William Sanders, Jay Kyzar, Jackson Kyzar, Jimmy Williams, and Walt Williams.
