HEARTSILL, Henry J. 89, a resident of Fort Deposit, AL died in North Baldwin Hospital Monday, December 24, 2012. Funeral services will be Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Beiler and Reverend Gayle Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, Fort Deposit, AL with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Heartsill is preceded in death by his wife, Willa (Judy) Heartsill, parents, Paul James and Lucile Heartsill, three brothers, Wilburn A. Sims, Cecil M. Heartsill, and Charles Heartsill. Survivors include daughter, Phyllis Heartsill Strickland (John, Jr.) of Braggs, AL; son, Patrick L. Hays, Sr. (Kathy) of Fort Deposit, AL;
seven grandchildren, Amanda Lassiter (Barry), Holladay Strickland, John James Strickland, III (Liz), Patrick L. Hays, Jr. (Tina), Joy Beiler (Jason), Matthew Henry Hays (Kristel), and Sarah Ellis (Tyler); thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bobbie Jean Loftin, Virginia Jones, Glenda Eakin and several nieces and nephews.
