Hazel Jeannette Wilkerson

Hazel Jeannette Wilkerson, a resident of Camden, Alabama, passed away on April 27, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home in Camden with Reverend Jimmy Collins officiating.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born on December 18, 1948 in Brent, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jody and Eula Mitchell; her husband, William Lauris “Billy” Wilkerson; two sons; one stepson; two stepdaughters; and multiple siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Annette Wilkerson (Johnny) and Elaine Hall (Chris); sons, Wayne Averette (Angie) and Curtis Averette (Sharlene); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; three siblings; and other extended family members and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Pines of Camden Nursing Facility for the care shown to their mother.
