Peavy, Hazel Marie Duncan, 96, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Wesley Gardens Assisted Living in Montgomery, AL. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Greenville, Al at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. John Ed Mathison officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Peavy was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Peavy and parents, Oscar C. and Mae B. Duncan. She is survived by her children, James A. Peavy, Jr., Signa Simpson, Merry Petitti (Pete) and Lee Alan Peavy (Debbie); grandchildren, Brent Peavy, Patrick Peavy, Chris Peavy, Scott Simpson, Cami Soliday, Robyn Harwood, Meredith Paddock, Laura Paddock, Sara Kate Peavy, Anna Beth Peavy and Matt Peavy; great-grandchildren, Julian Soliday, Lilly Soliday, Maddie Simpson, Anna Simpson, Jackson Simpson, Maddox Harwood, Josie Harwood and Emerson Razzim and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
